3rd kick: voice/action for house 11

[When Crys arrives back at the house late at night, she pretty much looks like a wreck. She just looks plain exhausted, and her left arm is in a sling. The rest of her is spotted with a few bruises and small scrapes, but nothing too horrible aside from her arm. As she walks up to the house, she notices the... weird ice wall? And stares in disbelief before walking in. Why she didn't notice it sooner, we may never know. Anyway, walking back into the house now. Mega walks with her for support as Crys closes the door. Unconsciously, she speaks to nothing.]

I'm home...

[Except everyone is asleep. Whoops. Mega nudges her gently with her head, and Crys pats her back. Letting out a tired sigh, she'll just walk to the kitchen and get some water or something. And sits down with her good hand covering her face.]

[Voice]

[Much later in the day on the 24th, and at a more reasonable time than midnight, she opens up the journal and pauses for a bit. She sounds a little tired, taking a deep breath before speaking.]

Has being here changed anyone?

[He pauses for a moment to stare at his boot, debating the best way to deal with this.

And then he unzips it, grits his teeth, and yanks the damn thing off in one swift motion. Ow. Ow. ...Okay. There's a very small margin between his socks and his pants, so it's difficult to make out the bandage.]

[Crys keeps an observant eye on his face while he takes off that boot. The teeth gritting is all she needs to know. She reaches up, pulling an extra pillow from the front of her bed, and hands it to him.]

Here. You can put your foot up on this if you want.

[...Oh. Uh. Thanks... He'll lay back down and hesitantly prop up his foot.]

[She lays back down herself, shifting her arm a little to get it set just right so it won't hurt or anything.]

Is it getting better?

I'll figure it out when I get fresh bandages later on.

Hm... do you want help later?

...I can do it myself.

[She'd ask if he's sure, but she already knows the answer to that.]

Okay. Just ask if you need help though, all right?

[...Nod. Yeah, sure. He can agree to that, at least.]

[She gives him a thankful smile, and lets out a sigh, staring at the ceiling.]

It's been pretty chaotic lately. Hardly anytime to rest...

[She yawns.]

[Hey. Hey. Yawns are contagious. See? Look what you... Yaaaawnnn....]

[She rubs her eyes a bit, giving a low hum of agreement.]

It's nice to just relax like this.

...It's weird. [And it always will be. But it's still... Nice. Yeah, it's nice. He doesn't really think about closing his eyes. It just kind of happens.]

It's good for you, though... [Her eyes are closed halfway through the sentence, and shortly after, she's just out like a light.]

[Yeah, yeah, good for him...

His head falls in Crys' direction, and he's fast asleep almost as fast as she is.]

[And they have all these comfy pillows, and Crys' head moves a little toward Silver's direction ~~just so Gold can get a little more jealous~~. Sleep tight, babies.]

[Gold comes into the room, hoping to find those two. He heard their voices earlier, so he comes into the room and--

[Crys and Silver having a nap together. Nothing wrong here.]
