kickingcatcher | 3rd kick: voice/action for house 11

[When Crys arrives back at the house late at night, she pretty much looks like a wreck. She just looks plain exhausted, and her left arm is in a sling. The rest of her is spotted with a few bruises and small scrapes, but nothing too horrible aside from her arm. As she walks up to the house, she notices the... weird ice wall? And stares in disbelief before walking in. Why she didn't notice it sooner, we may never know. Anyway, walking back into the house now. Mega walks with her for support as Crys closes the door. Unconsciously, she speaks to nothing.]

I'm home...

[Except everyone is asleep. Whoops. Mega nudges her gently with her head, and Crys pats her back. Letting out a tired sigh, she'll just walk to the kitchen and get some water or something. And sits down with her good hand covering her face.]

[Voice]

[Much later in the day on the 24th, and at a more reasonable time than midnight, she opens up the journal and pauses for a bit. She sounds a little tired, taking a deep breath before speaking.]

Has being here changed anyone?

[She is really, really not in the mood, Gold. She's not making eye contact, and just going to keep her gaze down.]

Not so fast. Both of you, sit down. [His voice is tense and serious and strict, definitely not the carefree tone he usually carries.]

[Oh. Yeah, he can't argue with Gold when his tone is like that. Sitting... Down...]

[OKAY FINE, she'll sit down. But on the other end of the couch. And not making eye contact with either of you. Especially Silver.]

[Oh wow, that actually worked. No wonder Crys uses it so often.]

C'mon you two, is this really the time to be fightin'? We've just survived a major battle and seized victory for another time. Back at home, this is the point where we start celebratin', not leapin' at each other's throats!

...After all, we're friends. Sure, we've got our differences, but that's what makes our bonds so strong. Actin' like this... It's just not right.

Yeah. You're right. ...Sorry. [He's just... Going to look away. He's too exhausted to hide the pained look on his face, but... It's not a pained look thanks to his leg.]

[She hugs her knees, still not making eye contact with anyone.]

... I'm sorry, too, Silver. I-I shouldn't have snapped at you. It was my fault.

[And she means it sincerely. If not only because she wants to go to bed.]

Alright, now that's better! [His tone shifts right back to his usual one now. He sits down right between them, and grabs them, trying to pull them close.] Now that you've apologized, don't worry about it now!

[But it wasn't your- damnit Gold, you and your stupid surprise group hugs-]

[Wha-- but a hug-- okay, fine she'll hug back with her good arm. At least she's feeling a little better.]

C'mon you two. We're the Johto Trio of Terror. How can we be a trio if we're feudin'? [Yeah, you two aren't getting out of this one, he's squeezing tight.]
