[When Crys arrives back at the house late at night, she pretty much looks like a wreck. She just looks plain exhausted, and her left arm is in a sling. The rest of her is spotted with a few bruises and small scrapes, but nothing too horrible aside from her arm. As she walks up to the house, she notices the... weird ice wall? And stares in disbelief before walking in. Why she didn't notice it sooner, we may never know. Anyway, walking back into the house now. Mega walks with her for support as Crys closes the door. Unconsciously, she speaks to nothing.]

I'm home...

[Except everyone is asleep. Whoops. Mega nudges her gently with her head, and Crys pats her back. Letting out a tired sigh, she'll just walk to the kitchen and get some water or something. And sits down with her good hand covering her face.]

[Voice]

[Much later in the day on the 24th, and at a more reasonable time than midnight, she opens up the journal and pauses for a bit. She sounds a little tired, taking a deep breath before speaking.]

Well, I've made my share of mistakes here, but I'd like to think they helped push me along. Can't learn anything if everything goes your way.

... mhm. Making mistakes is... kind of important. We learn from them. I'm glad you got to learn from them.

Yeah, same here. It's been a rough ride, but I can't imagine how things would've gone if everything went smoothly.

Ah... it's not really about me. A friend of mine did something... unexpected a while ago. It really took me by surprise. I can understand why he did it, but it was still shocking to me. I haven't so much changed as much as realizing a few things.

Huh, that explains it. So, has your friend here been here a long time?

Yes, he's been here for two years. I can see how someone could change in that time period, it's just still a little shocking.

Hey, I can't blame you. It might've been two years for him, but I doubt it's been that long on your end.

I've only been here for a few months myself.

Well, that's not so bad.

[He snickers.]

At least you haven't been here for three years.
