The house had become so quiet without them, she'd hoped it had all been part of some bad dream. That she'd wake up and Silver would ask why she slept in so late, Diamond and Pearl would make some bad (but amusing) jokes, Ruby would say she shouldn't stay up so late or it'll ruin her complexion or something, Green would ask if she wants to train.

All of it had become part of her normal routine. And now that four people in that routine were gone... it hit her hard. With Gold still being gone, it's even worse. Despite the pain, Crys still has an obligation to tell their friends, or even just acquaintances. She steels herself as she opens the journal, clearing her throat to speak in a clear, firm voice.
