3rd kick: voice/action for house 11

[When Crys arrives back at the house late at night, she pretty much looks like a wreck. She just looks plain exhausted, and her left arm is in a sling. The rest of her is spotted with a few bruises and small scrapes, but nothing too horrible aside from her arm. As she walks up to the house, she notices the... weird ice wall? And stares in disbelief before walking in. Why she didn't notice it sooner, we may never know. Anyway, walking back into the house now. Mega walks with her for support as Crys closes the door. Unconsciously, she speaks to nothing.]

I'm home...

[Except everyone is asleep. Whoops. Mega nudges her gently with her head, and Crys pats her back. Letting out a tired sigh, she'll just walk to the kitchen and get some water or something. And sits down with her good hand covering her face.]

[Voice]

[Much later in the day on the 24th, and at a more reasonable time than midnight, she opens up the journal and pauses for a bit. She sounds a little tired, taking a deep breath before speaking.]

Has being here changed anyone?

No. [He's being sincere this time. He's just not exactly peachy with the fussing.]

[Says the girl with her arm in a sling.]

[Yeah, too bad she's still learning all this.]

[...And now he sits up and looks over at Crys... Before putting a hand on her head. Yep, you got that right, Silver's headpatting Crys.]

Cheer up, alright? Everything's gonna be okay.

[... is he giving her a headpat? He is. Silver headpatting her, what is this. It's weird coming from Silver, but even so, she can't help smiling a little.]

You're right. Things always get better.

Especially with you guys. No matter what, you and Gold and everyone else help turn them around.

[But Silver, did those words really just come out of your mouth? Because she's pretty surprised at that.]

[She smiles at Silver again, giving him a quick hug with one arm.]

[...Crys hugs. Right. He can handle Crys hugs. Totally. He can even hug back! Kind of. Mostly. Awkwardly. Crys hugs...]

[You are so awkward sometimes, Silver. Anyway, she lefts go, and lays down on her bed. Aaah, comfy.]

[In other news, the sky is blue and two and two is four.

...Yeah, laying back down sounds nice. Laying down next to Crys in bed? There's nothing questionable about-

Wait.

Boots first. Ugh, he really has to take these stupid things off... Well, off goes the easy one.

...And now it's time for a staredown with the other one.]

[Why would there be anything questionable. Anyway, she didn't even have shoes on, but she raises her head a bit to see his leg.]

Do you need help getting the other one off?

[He pauses for a moment to stare at his boot, debating the best way to deal with this.

And then he unzips it, grits his teeth, and yanks the damn thing off in one swift motion. Ow. Ow. ...Okay. There's a very small margin between his socks and his pants, so it's difficult to make out the bandage.]

[Crys keeps an observant eye on his face while he takes off that boot. The teeth gritting is all she needs to know. She reaches up, pulling an extra pillow from the front of her bed, and hands it to him.]

Here. You can put your foot up on this if you want.

[...Oh. Uh. Thanks... He'll lay back down and hesitantly prop up his foot.]

[She lays back down herself, shifting her arm a little to get it set just right so it won't hurt or anything.]

Is it getting better?

I'll figure it out when I get fresh bandages later on.
